Artemisia Linseed Oil refined 250ml

Artists have long relied on linseed oil to adjust the properties of oil paints, prepare mediums, or create their own blends. The most common is linseed oil, which, when mixed with paint, enhances its optical qualities, increases gloss, and improves colour transparency. Unlike solvents, it does not alter the structure of the paint. Linseed oils also affect drying time, which may be shortened or extended depending on the processing method used. Refined Linseed Oil: Pale yellow in tone, does not significantly discolour over time, showing far less tendency to yellow than raw oil. When added to paint, it makes it more fluid and easier to apply. Once dry, the paint film becomes glossy and water-resistant.
