Ranger Industries, better known in the hobby and craft community as Ranger Ink, is an American company founded in 1929 in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. It originally manufactured specialty inks for the banking industry in the United States. In 1975, the company was purchased by Vincent A. DiLasia, who, along with his wife, Anne Generas, expanded the business by introducing new inks and began to focus on the arts and crafts market. In 1979, Ranger developed its first art printing pads in unique and vibrant colors. By 1998, the company's primary business was the production of private labels for other stamp manufacturers. Ranger then began offering its own product lines, starting with inks and gradually expanding to other media. In 2006, Vincent's sons, Justin Russo and Alain Avrilon, took full control of the company.
